Hi Mel,
The scan is beautiful. What can I say, you've done an exellent job. When Fred saw it he said 'My God doesn't it look like her?'!!!! I wonder what he was really expecting?? Seriously, though, every-one who has seen it says it's brilliant, and also commented on the look in her eye, the expression there is really spot-on.
Can't wait to have the real article hanging on our living-room wall.

Thank you. Izzy's portrait is astonishing. More than we could ever have hoped for.
You have done a brilliant job of capturing her - it is a true likeness. The expression on her face and the look in her eye is Izzy as I remember her most - kind, loving, alert. A beautiful reminder of a lovely friend.

Jane emailed me to see if i could paint her dearly departed bull terrier called Izzy. She wanted to get a portrait of her for her husbands christmas present. They were delighted with the outcome and i have added two of Jane's emails in quotes above.
