My oil paintings are painted on professionally stretched medium grain canvas. My style of painting is very soft and delicate, using very fine brush strokes.
I work on two types of canvas, both are professionally stretch by my favrouite brand Loxley, one is flat and the other has a 3cm thickness. The thicker of the two is called Gallery Style Canvas.
The flat canvas is super easy to fit into any ready made frame. There isnt any depth to the canvas so it will fit perfectly into frame. If you prefer the gallery style canvas, these dont need framing. I paint not only on the front of the canvas but the side as well. The gallery style canvases arrive with all the nessassries to hang straight on your wall the moment it arrives!
